Before you decide

Driveway questions,
answered.

What affects the cost of a concrete driveway?

Size, demolition, access, excavation, base preparation, reinforcement, thickness, drainage and finish all affect the price. Send your approximate dimensions and photos so we can discuss the scope before a site visit. Your written estimate defines what is included.

Can you remove my old driveway or extend it?

Yes. We can discuss removal and replacement, a new driveway, or an extension. We review the existing grades, access and connection to surrounding surfaces before recommending a scope.

Which finish should I choose?

Broom finish provides a simple textured appearance. Exposed aggregate highlights natural stone, while stamped concrete adds pattern and color. Sand finish offers a finer texture. We can compare appearance, upkeep and suitability for your property.

How do you plan for drainage and cracking?

We review grades, water flow, base preparation, reinforcement and joint placement as part of the scope. Concrete can crack even when installed carefully; joints help manage where cracking occurs but cannot guarantee a crack-free slab.

When can I park on my new driveway?

Vehicle access depends on the mix, weather and curing conditions. We will give you project-specific guidance before reopening the driveway; keep vehicles off until the agreed curing period is complete.

Do I need a permit?

Requirements depend on the city and work involved, especially changes near sidewalks, curbs or the public right-of-way. We clarify permit responsibilities and applicable requirements in your scope before work starts.
